Progression
By: Roussel

The whole freestyle skiing scene has been based on progression. A few years back many skiboarders thought that progression was to move on to longer boards. Some people didn't like this idea stuck with skiboarding. And the people who stuck with it stay few. Since then the skiboarding industry has been near death, a lot of companies closed shop, and our sport has been nearly forgoten.

What makes us different from our close cousins, the twin tippers?
How do you see the future of skiboarding?

This is for us to decide, the riders. The few ones left who stuck with our sport for the love of it. How you see skiboarding's future should be what you want it to be. If you've got an idea don't be scared to share it. Go on the message boards, start web pages, clubs, crews. If you think there should be more skiboarding oriented companies go ahead and start one. Invent new tricks, think up new ideas. Because you are what makes skiboarding what it is, there are no longer big companies telling us what to do. There are no more pro's to look up to. Only yourself and one another. We are the few ones left, and each one of us matter in our tiny community.

We own this sport, and we can take it where ever we want it to go!
